The 1000Base-SX SFP transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting data-rate of 1.25Gbps and 550m transmission distance with MMF.
The transceiver consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

Product quality management
To ensure the quality, the main device of our optical transceiver modules is purchased from the industry leading manufacturers, Mitubishi and Maxim. Because we are bulk purchase, our purchase costs is lower than other small manufacturers.
A. Raw Materials
PCB circuit boards and goldfinger
The PCB circuit board of our optical transceiver modules is designed with 4-8 layers circuit, product thickness of 1mm. Dimensions thickness of the positive tolerance is 0.1mm so that the impedance matching is more perfect to realize high speed circuit transmission.
Goldfinger nickel layer having a thickness of 3 ~ 15um; gold layer thickness 0.38um, width tolerance +-2mil, length tolerance +-6mil; hot swap, up to 200 times.
We use large-scale commercial used chips, like the GN25L95 and the GN1157 of SEMTECH. These chips are widely used in the field of Passive Optical Network (PON).
The lasers we use, such as 1.25G optical module lasers and 10G optical modules lasers, are the TO-CAN from Mitsubish, Cyoptics, Sumitomo, Turelight and Luxnet and other international companies. And after our rigorous screening of aging program, eventually coupled to TOSA, ROSA and BOSA, life of up to 5 years.
B. Production Process Management
Our workers undergo a rigorous training and testing, will strictly control each production session to reach:
1. Production process traceable: our automatic test system achieves collection of single mode optical module¡¯s optical power automatically; automatically attenuates to the set sensitivity; automatically test the errors rate and high and low alarms. These technical parameters are automatically recorded into an Excel spreadsheet, taking 8 seconds and reducing the manual operation time, achieving the traceability in each session, reducing the amount of substandard products and rework time.
2. Automated production: we use automated welding and coupling equipment and automated test devices, such as error analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meter, variable optical attenuators, spectrum analyzer, high and low temperature box, etc., to reduce production time and labor costs.
3. High product qualification rate: we produce in the dust-free workshop, strictly control the failure rate. The product qualification rate up to 99%, to ensure all optical modules are 100% compliance with international standards.
Conventional production process
By a way of ¡°Artificial + Equipment¡±, we complete a series of assembly process, like pin welding, device welding, etc.
After assembly, we need to write info into the optical module and test, adjust the data, mainly including transmitting power, extinction ratio, eye diagram and receiving sensitivity, etc. to make sure that the parameters of each product are in the normal range.
Put the optical modules into the high-temperature aging oven, charged high temperature aging 85¡æ) for more than 12 hours, to improve the quality and reliability of optical modules.
Through a series of tests, including ambient temperature test, high and low temperature test, transmission distance test, compatibility test, MTBF (mean time between failures) test, hot-swappable test, etc. to make each optical modules are able to meet the needs of the user's application environment.
To ensure the quality before shipping, the final inspection includes end-face inspection, visual inspection, data inspection, etc.
